Jerry Burns for County Council - Whatcom County. Previously Campaigned for State Legislature District 42, Position 2

I Am Committed To Liberty & Justice For All Washington State Citizens And Our Fellow Americans In Other States & Territories of the U.S.A.  I AM OPPOSED TO FEARMONGERING...

STRONG ANTI-VIRAL ESSENTIAL OILS COMMONLY AVAILABLE IN HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTERS such as those in Fred Meyer, Whole Foods, Food Co-Ops, Seattle Super Supplements, etc...: Uncle Harry's Four Bandits Anti-Germ Aromatherapy Shield contains Ravensara along with some of the other oils mentioned below.

Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Oregano, Thyme, and Peppermint.  I prefer Eucalyptus oil because i like its smell and I make my own hand and surface anti-viral spray by mixing 15 drops in distilled water in a 1 pint spray bottle.  Shake it before spraying and one has a pleasant smelling, alcohol free and therefore non-drying anti-viral spray. I add 4-5 drops of peppermint essential oil to make my anti-viral spray anit-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal.

One can GET A NEBULIZER - Last price I saw at Walmart pharmacy was about $110.

One can get 100 cc of sterile saline from your pharmacy.

One can get a bottle of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (35%).  This is a strong oxidizer!  Use safety glasses or goggles and gloves when handling in order to protect eyes and skin. I urge you to keep it under lock and key wherever small children are present.

Consult with your Naturopathic Physician or other physicians familiar with oxygen based therapies on dosing.  One can find a list of these and conduct your own due diligence research at  Personally, I mix 5 cc H2O2 with the 100cc of sterile saline and store it in a glass jar/bottle with a tightly sealed lid in my refrigerator.  It keeps for up to a year.  Then I have it ready at the first sign of a sniffle, sneeze, cough, etc...

I'd look for it at Food Co-Ops, Super Supplements, Whole Foods, and other Health & Wellness Centers or or  If they have it in stock, usually has prices that are 40-60% cheaper than retail outlets.

I Demand A Free Society in which our medical system is not owned by Big Pharma! Let's Force This With Our Votes And If Our Government Fails To Act, We Will Force Them To END THIS WAR Using The Iniative Measure Process.  To wit, Washington State Government MUST make it legal for medical professionals to prescribe and recommend oxygen based therapies and treatments and require all insurance companies to cover these therapies!  Look for forthcoming petitions aimed at Congress, our Senate, Congress, and our President to order VA, TriWest, and Medicare to prescribe and cover these therapies.

Let us temper our justice with mercy lest we be remembered by our posterity as brutal, compassionless, inhumane thugs.  Let us fund the REENTRY COALITION with tax dollars from the 1/2 of 1% tax on alcohol in order to reduce recidivism, thus saving tax dollars (your money) and help habilitate lives!!!

I support a portion of marijuana taxes to be set aside to pay for dental care for Whatcom County residents who do not have dental insurance coverage or to help residents with such coverage to pay their co-pays.

I am involved with friends in grassroots endevor to solve the homeless problem in Whatcom County.

I support changing zoning regulations in order to encourage business expansions in rural business centers such as Acme, Nugent's Corner, Deming, Britton Road at Mt. Baker Hwy, and several North county locations.  My first goal is to spearhead returning rural business septic system regulations to 2006 requirements in order to unburden small businesses from the onerous, unnecessary, and expensive "nibbler" requirement which requires quarterly inspections from only one monopolistic company and cost in excess of $400!  I used to install residential septic systems in my teens and twenties and assert that annual inspections for business septic systems from any licensed plumber and/or septic system installation company is more than sufficient and with competition will drive the prices of inspections downward.  Afterall, competition is the American way!

I support instituting a zoning change similar to the Snohomish county ordinance that will allow farmers to place drive-thru coffee/espresso huts in order to help them make ends meet; NO FARMS, NO FOOD!!

The outright removal of the injustice and interference of the state is my ultimate goal.

I advocate real freedom from government interference.

I support individual liberty because it's the right thing to do and because it's the best way to benefit the greatest number of people.

I whole-heartedly supported the Lummi Nation's efforts to protect our environment for us and our children.  I sent them a letter requesting their help in this matter. I encourage you to call, email, and mail your words of support and make financial contributions to their efforts to prevent a coal port in Whatcom County and encourage a coal port in Longview, Washington where it is WANTED; there exists a 21st century deep water industrial port and low population density which will decrease the impact of increased railroad traffic.  Longview is in South Puget sound and its port has much better protection from high winds, dramatically reducing coal dust contamination concerns.

Their state-of-the-art industrial port in Longview and the residents of this low population area desperately needs the jobs such a port would bring.

I advocate sound environmental policy and practices.  My car is all electric.  My pick-up runs on SVO, Straight Vegetable Oil.  I have a 2 seater, electric trike prototype which I intend to build locally.  Look for crowdfuning efforts this Spring. I invite and encourage regional community stakeholders to hold Meet & Greets for potential investors and community stakeholders in Bellingham, Mount Vernon, Anacortes, and Marysville.  Contact via this site for updates or look for ads in the Echo.
